2015 IS HERE AND WE HOPE FOR THE BEST

We are fortunate that we live in San Francisco and that the most astute people from around the world gravitate to the Bay Area and move to San Francisco.

15 years ago Environmental Justice Advocacy established itself at 4909 Third Street in San Francisco and then four years ago we moved to Executive Park, 5 Thomas Mellon Street, with a beautiful view of the Bay and of course free parking.

We continue doing what is do best representing the "true community constituents" the ones that come to us for help, which we offer them without reservation. We build relationships; good relationships and we are a movement.

Our City and County of San Francisco in recent years does not seem to care for families and so thousands of decent families have left San Francisco.

We have a population of about 610,000 in San Francisco and even though others are coming in; we see less families and even less children. Our day time population can reach one and half million—thousands working in our hospitals, our City government, our tourist industry, our many conventions—you get the picture.

Our roads are congested, too many pot holes, the particulates keep increasing. People in charge talk about reducing the carbon footprint, while all the time increasing the carbon footprint. Saying one thing and doing another.

Some take pride that we have more dogs than children in San Francisco.

If you count cats and stray cats than you know what I mean; we seem to care for animals more than children and humanity.

In recent years the homeless have grown, it is a shame to see so many poor and indigent sleep on our streets and face the inclement weather. A one bed room unit cost $3000 and if it situated in a richer neighborhood, more.

Environmental Justice Advocacy is about Quality of Life issues. So, we take on those that must represent our City and County of San Francisco and fail to do so.

We go to City Hall and voice our opinion before the drab San Francisco Board of Supervisors in Room 250, many of whom make deals behind closed doors. We count on our grass roots movement; that is a force to reckon with.

Our work is difficult, our fight challenging, our aspiration to help those that need help most; we strive with fortitude and deliver.

2015 is here and our work has been cut out for us all; we thank our webmaster Joel Skidmore, those that work closely with me on all our projects: local, State, Federal and international. Most of all God who watches everything blesses us; we know this for sure.

We continue to work for the Muwekma Ohlone the First People of San Francisco and keep hoping that soon the tribe that is fighting for its recognition will win in Court and be Federally Recognized once again. All of this land belongs to them and each square inch was stolen.

We work hard for our infants, our youth, our young adults, our seniors—those that need help most and we do it as best we can and have been representing all well, working as a team.

Even before we know it, 2016 will come and once again we will announce our desire to do what we always have said and continue to do: represent the community all over San Francisco as best we can. God bless you all.
