Time and time again we have seen so many environmental issues tied with actions that fall short and point to a lack of ethics, disrespect for Mother Earth and the misuse of a sound moral compass—engrained in all of us.

The governments all over the world think less of pollution and more of greed. More about money and less about accountability and qualified transparency.

Here in San Francisco the recent 58,000 gallon spill - opened a can of worms. San Francisco found itself vulnerable and when the constituents expected the Mayor to be in control - he was screwing around with his significant other - far, far away.

Environmentalist wanted to do the right thing and jump into the clean up operations only to find the authorities asking for qualified hazardous clean up certification. Many got certified and kudos to them all.

Thousands of innocent birds and other Marine Life suffered. And even today the mere mention of the Spill evokes unpleasant memories.

This land belongs to the First People and they always request us to be good to Mother Earth. Very cautious - what we take out from the Earth but more cautious as to what we dare spill and put on the Earth.

Some three hundred years ago - most of what we see today was pristine. Two hundred years ago when Lewis and Clarke landed on the West Coast most of what they saw was pristine. But, just look what man has made of pristine land, rivers, hills, forest and what was Mother Earth.

It is critical that we take our environmental aspirations to a better place but we cannot do that without a moral compass and a vision that is holistic in nature.

If we do right - we all make progress but if we do not come to that realization soon - we all will be doomed.

Mother Earth can take its time and heal - but for us time is of essence - and at the rate we are polluting - future generations will be adversely impacted.

This website has done well thanks to Joel Skidmore, Rudy Rucker and our many fans. In recent years we have walked the walk and taken on corrupt corporations and reduced their stocks to Junk Status.

We have taken on City Agencies and brought them to their knees.

We have supported the First People and received their blessings.

We have supported the under dog and heard the enemy ask for mercy.

We have spoken after discerning and changed things around.

We have defended children and seen that unique light in their eyes and felt very good.

Environmentalists from all over the world have offered us their support and kudos - and to them and to the many fans we say "thank you".

We have worked with diverse folks and all denomination and spoken out when harm was done to our children, elders, and those with compromised health. God has been good to us in our common struggle and taken us all to a better place.

Soon we will begin a new year - and with the dawn of the year 2008 - we will see many changes. For sure some of them will be like the Tsunami that came out from no where and humbled us all.

Closer to home the Big One has been sending us signals and we are not prepared - as we saw with the Big Spill. Our politicians love to jump on the band wagon after the fact - and then begins the name calling and finger pointing.

Mother Earth gives us not a clarion call - far in advance but prompts us to be morally sound so that we are sensitive to the alarm and prepared. We must respect her for in doing so - we will be blessed.
